I'm away on vacation on the Eastern Shore (of MD) this week visiting family, I'll be back by August 1st. Things are going much better at the moment, my grandmother had to take a loan out on her house so we could fix the car; it's still in the shop. I finally have my first appointment with the Bariatric doctor at the end of June, the first step in trying to get my gastric bypass. It only took since November for the doctor to peek at my files and approve me, but I'm very happy. I got my learner's permit again on Tuesday and I went driving for the first time in about a year yesterday. My mom picked me up from work in her new car and took me to Columbia to practice. I did much better than I thought I would, they had a little parking garage and I drove up and down the three floors, practiced parking and a three point turn. ( Read more... )
