Vacation
I'm away on vacation on the Eastern Shore (of MD) this week visiting family, I'll be back by August 1st. Things are going much better at the moment, my grandmother had to take a loan out on her house so we could fix the car; it's still in the shop. I'm driving and working on being able to pass my driving test in August.
I was approached by the Zendik's twice at Artscape this year (and once last year), apparently cults love me. Artscape was a lot of fun, I got a handmade fly pin that I named Syd after Syd Barrett (insert fly on The Wall joke here). I also saw Several Species play at Pier 6, supposedly they are the best Pink Floyd cover band around (we got tickets before the car's engine went up or else we wouldn't have been able to afford it). It rained buckets but it was really great to just go and have fun for a few hours and not stress over anything but the length of the beer line.
