Hey everyone,

So I have the ubiquitous what-should-I-substitute question. I'm trying to make this recipe for spicy onion rings. It calls for "1 cup egg substitute." I'm pretty sure "egg substitute" in this recipe refers to one of those concoctions that come in bottles that are called egg beaters or something. I have a bunch of rainbow chard, a couple onions, some garlic, and parsnips. Are there any recipes that involve all of these things? I love the combination of the former three, but I don't know how to involve the parsnips. I have a recipe for a separate parsnip dish, but if there's a way to put them all together tastily I'd like to try it!

Thanks for the suggestions, I cooked up my chard and it was super duper delicious. I sauteed it in olive oil with collard greens, red onions, garlic, and mini bella mushrooms.

Hey everyone, a quick question on caramelizing onions, or rather dealing with the aftermath. While I think it makes the house smell amazing it does have a tendency to kind of stick to things like clothing and roommates. I want to veganize a family recipe for vidalia onion pie that i remember being heavenly. I can obviously use soy milk and daiya cheddar for subs, but i don't know how to replace the egg. Any suggestions? I don't think Ener-g would work well.

After trying a couple new recipes this past week, I have a lot of celery and green onion on my hands, since they are both the kind of vegetables that come in big bunches. These are two things I wouldn't buy normally, so I'm not sure how to use them up. I don't want to waste them, so how should I use up my celery and green onion?

This summer I taught on a farm which was incredibly rewarding and allowed me to bring home lots of produce. Tonight I cooked kale for the first time and this meal came out so delish I had to share it with you all. It is a mix of a few recipes I found online.
