Okay, so I just got this book in the mail yesterday afternoon and was wondering if it's too soon to ask if anyone (especially those of you who recipe-tested!) has any favorite cupcakes to recommend!?!
Also, a question...I tried making the buttercream without non-hydrogenated shortening (I only had Earth Balance on hand) and it was quite gloppy. I had to add more powdered sugar than I would have liked. So, if you do use the non-hydrogenated shortening for the buttercream, is it firmer? Thanks!
