I've managed to hear from all my friends in Japan now. All of them and their families are currently safe - except for two cousins of Marina who haven't checked in. But if anything, I'm more worried for my friends now, given the state of Fukujima Daichi, which is why I've joined the ranks of fandom power, and have put my fic writing up for auction ( Read more... )

Okay, so the google-fish, and then the vayshti translator, seem to suggest that Renji's zanpakutou in the new anime arc is called "Zabimitsuki". And it is a her. Itou seems to be pretty pleased after seeing her in the magazine too.
