A cat ran in front of my car this morning (safely, don't worry) and took my breath away, because it was no normal house cat.  The way it held itself, the shape of its body and positioning of the ears and the really amazing markings made that clear.  I couldn't help it, when I got home I sat down to work and managed for over an hour before I had to ( Read more... )

Okay, this is why I love Florida!  This morning on my walk I saw a family of otters (three of them) cross the street to get from one pond to another.  They stopped to look at me when I halted to look at them, but nothing keeps otters immobile long and they soon continued on their merry way.  Too cute!  I'm determined to get one of those cameras ( Read more... )

Cooking tonight.  Also big tropical storm bending the trees into table tops.  If one doesn't kill us the other just might.  Okay, slight exaggeration...as far as the storm goes.  As for my cooking....
