My car is being kept overnight and getting TWO new front tires, a front-end alignment and an oil change!!!

I'm absolutely blown away. I would've been quite happy just to get the tire replaced. The rest is gravy and biscuits. Wow.

I have a lot to be thankful for, and I am---very!

Last night, Mb and I wandered over to the mall for a little while...it was nearly deserted on a Monday night. She bought me a slice of pizza at Sbarro, which was good at the time, but it or something is really cleaning me out today, and I suspect heat-lamped 'za. Just returned from an afternoon out---lunch with Mb, then we went over to Kat's cleaned out my car, huzzah!---after which she decided she needed to get home and I went for a swim. Ah, bliss! Gods help me, they had a Kindred: The Embraced marathon on SciFi channel today, and I got sucked in to that. Way too many pretties, and a few "OMG, that's!---".... Now, if they'd just rerun American Gothic, I'd be a really happy camper.

I zoomed over to my tire guy on my way to work; he tested the tire, said it was leaking where it was previously plugged and that he'd try to plug it again, but if that didn't work, that it was definitely time for another tire. So I ponyed up $7 for the plug, which seems to be working. I'm going to stash a few dollars for another tire just in case ( Read more... )

I had a minor hissy fit and managed to get a place I like at the end of a row, although tomorrow, I'm going to wear pants so I can crawl under my previous desk and swap out keyboards.
