1. Keep at least 2x the usual distance between you and the other vehicles as you normally would. Be extra vigilant in watching your side lanes in case you need to move into one of them.

Friday I left work at noon, beat the snow home. This had been my plan all along, but since they cancelled the show last night and told us all to leave by 2pm, it made my life that much easier. So. The 1"-1.5" of snow? More like 4"-5". And still coming down. Not complaining, it's actually pretty, and fluffy, which means shoveling should be fairly easy once it calms down enough for Mom and I to feel like going out and shoveling.
