So today I was an extra in a shoot for The Histroy Channel. It will be part of the "Primal Fear" special next Halloween. Specifically, the 'buried alive' segment.
I left the shoot location at just after 1pm. Took me 45 minutes to get the 3.6 miles home.
An hour ago when I sat down at the 'puter, I could still see the top 2" of grass outside. Now the snow is up to the lowest rail of the fence (which is 5"-6"). I can see the lights in the parking lot of the grocery store two buildings away, but not the store itself. I can, however, see the amount of falling flakes illuminated by said lights, which is really neat and makes me glad I am home. Though they are falling at about a 45 degree angle, so it's not really a good time to take a stroll. I love walking in the snow...but not when swirling gusting winds are included.
Got the stamp carved for my Holiday cards, did some test prints. Theys gonna be sweet! Hope to send them out early next week.
Hubby's job closed early, he walked home, had some lunch, and is now napping. I'd love to do that, but I'm too full of boingy IT'S SNOWING!!! energy.
Oh, and we got us a DVD player finally, on supah-sale! Yay!
And now to go play some brain crack.
Quote of the day:
ME: It's love!
ISAAC: Or bad clams.
ME: What?!
ISAAC: I often find that's the case. It's either love, or bad clams.
