So. The 1"-1.5" of snow? More like 4"-5". And still coming down. Not complaining, it's actually pretty, and fluffy, which means shoveling should be fairly easy once it calms down enough for Mom and I to feel like going out and shoveling.
However...
My Dr.'s appointment had to be re-scheduled.
Again.
This will be the FIFTH attempt for said appointment.
It's supposed to be my 3 month follow up for the physical I had in the middle of last October.
Original date: Feb 9th. Dr. end up being on vacation (the sceduling desk didn't get the info until a few days after I set the appt).
Re-schedule for Feb 12th. My mom and I had conflicting appointments, and someone needed to be around to take care of my grandmother.
Re-re-schedule for Feb 14th. Dr.'s office first called to confirm on Feb 13th, then called back and said what with the impending weather...Right.
Re-re-re-schedule for Feb 26th (today). I wake up to find a voicemail from the office: Dr. can't get in because of road conditions (she lives in a somewhat boonified area).
Re-re-re-re-schedule. For April 2nd, the earliest day they have an appointment time available before 11am. So, 9:15 it is, so I can go in late instead of take the whole day off (which I am still doing today).
Hopefully there won't be any more snow by then.
And that's pretty much that. Gotta call my aunt today and get the last few scraps of address info for my cousins...though going to the post offal might not happen today after all. Hopefully the oads will be decent by this afternoon so I can go visit Spamily and The Noodle.
And now, some warm blanket and interesting book are in order.
Or maybe just staring out the window at my pine tree getting all winterized and fluffy. That could be good too.
