my day started with more of this.
but i wasn't as angry about it, luckily.
pam and i went to the city to go to a solidarity event for the new jersey 4, and if you don't know who that is,
train station
it wasn't a long wait.
the mission
mural on the side of the womyn's building, where the event was held.
creepy old elevators.
there was hellaaaa people there! oh, did i forget to mention
angela davis was there?
anyway, two of the new jersey 4 had their cases overturned within the last week, so Terrain Dandridge was actually there. she spoke and her mother spoke for a while. it was amazing.
saw an awesome tat.
she is such an amazing speaker.
she also pointed out the mass mobilization that went on around the
jena 6, while next to no one was ready to do something about the "lesbian wolf pack" that are being prosecuted for self-defense. the world we live in.
crazy lady on the train who was taking pictures of people as if they couldn't see themselves reflected on the other side of her phone. hilarious.
everything feels weird right now. hopefully i'll feel less weird soon. getting random texts from mo is not helping.
also, zomg soooo many beautiful womyn hanging around the womyn's building. i swear, i'm gonna start volunteering there. jesus.
