Mabry brought me her half empty baby album and said we needed to finish filling it up. She asked me if we had more baby pictures of her. I said we didn't. She started flipping through the empty pages and finally said, "Well, I guess any ol' baby will do."

In regards to Parker having a hard time pressing the button that releases the car seat straps to let Fin out, Peyton said, "You're an embarassment to opposable thumbs everywhere".

Mabry plopped up on the bed by me, looked at Jeff and said, "Come on, Daddy. These feet aren't gonna massage themselves."

Mabry showed me a picture she drew of Peyton and said, "I'm not so good at shirts. So I drew him in a dress. But don't worry... I told him it was a shirt that was eating him".

Mabry (when we were singing Mighty to Save together)... "Oh! It's 'author of salvation'! I thought it was 'give yourself PERMISSION'!"

At the end of today's engagement shoot in New Bern, this well-dressed lady in her 40's stopped by me as I was crouching down for the last shot (the couple and Jeff were across the street from me). We just took the kids through Vidallia's Christmas Lane down by the Mississippi River. It's a long row of holiday displays hosted by local businesses. They're mostly animatronic deals with Santa or elves or snowmen... Cute enough in their own little way, but completely hysterical when my family drives by.
