It's my birthday in five weeks (well, 5 weeks and 2 days). Weird. It feels like I just had a birthday. I unfortunately will most likely be at work for my birthday this year, not drinking in a hot tub and eating fresh reindeer meat like last year. :|

I keep trying to write a post about 'crack fiction', why the term irks me, and why I don't like being told my writing is crack but it keeps coming off deliriously self-obsessed and douchey.

At Nanowrimo write in. Novel is apparently kicking my ass. Heather and Ace aren't online and I miss them. I have gone completely insane, apparently.

So I wrote a scene into my Nanowrimo story in which one of my MCs gets attacked and bitten by a very angry badger. Because I could and because Katie fed me way too much Coke.

Okay, so my brain has been making weird fandom crossovers for the last day or so and I just suddenly realized the crossover that set it all in motion was as a result on a major reading error on my part.
