I'm so glad we got him looked at; left untreated, things could eventually have gone horribly wrong. We'll happily take a couple weeks of convincing him to take medication (and he takes the ones in pill form readily, at that) and switching their food instead!My day has been ( Read more... )

After being so tired/sleeping so badly over the past few days, I let myself not set an alarm this morning, thinking I might sleep until 11 or so. A few times a week, usually during the chunk of time when I'm in my office before bed, Jinksy will wander in silently and notify me of his presence by stretching up tall along the side of my chair and then patting my arm with his forepaws. Jinksy's main diagnosis: a probable flea allergy. ( cutting a bit more detail for people squicked by discussion of household pests, although the good news here is that we haven't seen even a single bug )
