Good morning. This is Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.
Every Friday I respond to the messages received on this show.
First up is one from Yuuka-san of Atsugi.
"The other day, on TOKIO Matsuoka (Masahiro)-kun's blog, he wrote that Ohno-kun, Murakami (Shingo)-kun, (Ikuta) Toma-kun, Joshima (Shigeru)-kun and other members gave him a birthday countdown [1]. What did you do to celebrate?"
Ohh. Um, well, we booked a place, I think? And then like, the members of 4U came, and then Joshima-kun came too.
Um, there was arm-wrestling... and I lost. As you'd expect, that guy is strong! Incredibly strong. Like, in the past I did arm-wrestling... I don't know if it was a 'fellow leaders' thing or something, but like Matsu-nii, Joshima-kun and I were arm wrestling.
Like, that happened in the past and I also lost back then. And then I lost this time, too. Why do I always have to end up arm-wrestling Joshima-kun, I wonder?
Like, that impression is just... Why do I have to arm-wrestle? That was my impression of the birthday party. Yeah.
But well, he was cool - Matsu-nii was wearing a suit and serving looks.
Right, next, from Macchi-san of Aichi.
"On the episode of 'Arashi ni Shiyagare' that aired on New Year's Day, Satoshi-kun and other members of the Ohno party were fully enjoying an open air bath on a cruise, right? Suda (Masaki)-kun, Chinen (Yuuri)-kun, Ueshima (Ryuuhei)-san's love towards Ohno-kun was well conveyed; it felt very warm. If you have any anecdotes from that time, please share them with us."
That's right. It was a new one, with these faces. Mm. But like, even though I've co-starred with all these people before, honestly, I'd never done an Ohno party before.
Nevertheless, on New Year's they made a mailing group. And in it, Suda-kun was like, "By all means, let's do an Ohno party this year!"
And Yuuri was like, "Definitely, let's do it!"
Mm. But Ryuu-san wasn't in the group. (laughs)
Well, of course I'd come, but for sure, the timing... When would be a good time to do it? But like, I'd do it! Every 2 or 3 months or so. The sooner the better.
I've always been talking about it, right? Mm. And then next thing I know it's the end of the year.
Well, in any case, we can go someplace and drink. And then arm wrestle... Why do I have to arm wrestle??? (laughs)
If I do go, I'll report it here! I'll report what we talked about here. Right!
Next, from Tan-ta-tan-san.
"On a special NHK program featuring Kinki(-Kids)-san, there was a shot during the Kohaku rehearsal of (Domoto) Koichi-kun and Ohno-kun having a conversation. Ohno-kun's own clothes at the time was really fashionable."
Really? It was the black one, right? That was - Wait, was that fashionable? That was fashionable?
What happens if I really became fashionable? (laughs) 'Bad boy'!
Eh, but I'm really happy! It's the first time someone's told me I was fashionable! By Tan-ta-tan-san!
But like, sorry, can I say one thing? Let me say one thing for real. That Kohaku Rehearsal, like, there were reporters and all sorts of people seated in the audience and they let all sorts of people in.
So even though they call it a rehearsal, you have to still kinda be put-together. Even me. Like you never know when they might be taking photos of you, so I wasn't even wearing sandals, I had proper socks and sneakers on. They said I couldn't wear pajamas, so honestly, I had to fish around in my closet (laughs) That black knit thing... I found it and was like, 'Ah, there's this! This'll do!' I basically figured it'd be fine as long as it was black. So that was all.

But like, Tan-ta-tan-san mistook it as being fashionable! (laughs) You sure I can call that fashionable? Can I? I'm really happy!
So since then, I've not worn that black knit thing. But if that's fashionable, I've got a whole ton of more fashionable clothes! If my own clothes are going to be photographed, then maybe I'd better put more effort into it. Yeah.

Next, from Mirei-chan.
"I'm a high school student who's gradually approaching university exams. I'm really worried and frazzled right now. I think there are a lot of worried fellow students like me who will be taking exams, so we need a word of encouragement from Satoshi-kun."
No, no, no. There's no need for any regrets. You just gotta do it. Of course, pass or fail, that's important, of course.
So on that note, be true to yourself and do what you can without any regrets. That's the most important. As long as you can say that you studied as best you can without any regrets, isn't that enough?
So even if you don't pass, up to that point, you can say you went as far as you could and that's your personal growth. Yeah.
So without overdoing it, just think of it as a once-in-a-lifetime moment of accomplishment.
