This is a quote by 18th century Prime Minister and statesman, William Pitt-san.
This was sent in by listener Miyu-san from Saitama. The message reads:
"Ohno-kun, good morning. When I first heard this quote, I thought 'That's Arashi!'. In particular, Ohno-kun and Sakurai-kun has been together for the longest time and the mutual confidence you have in each other really shows."
Ohh. Well, it's been ages with Sho-kun, huh? Speaking of which, it's been nearly 20 years, hasn't it? I mean, in after a year that I entered the agency, Sho-kun also joined. So we were almost peers. Well, there's a year's difference though. (laughs)
But well, there's a lot of memories with Sho-kun. Sho-kun, now... um, what was it now, during our Junior days, he was really stylish. Mm. Um, he'd come with a perm out of the blue. Mm. And then wasn't Sho-kun the first one of the Juniors? The one who first started wearing coloured contact lenses?
Probably... grey? And they really suited him. He was cool. Mm. And then, um, he hadn't grown into his height yet. He was a little on the short side. But he always gave off this air of stylishness. That was the impression, at the beginning. Mm.
But before I knew it, his height overtook mine. Um, everyone in Arashi's taller than me. MatsuJun now, he was totally smaller than me. Mm. But before I knew it, he'd totally gotten bigger than me. Mm. (laughs)
I might still grow! There's a possibility! But height isn't everything! Mm. Let me tell you. While I tell you this, I'll live.
So while our bodies grew, Arashi grew along with it.
So from now on, please watch over us in Arashi. Please w-watch us! Ah, I kinda slipped up there. So anyway. Who should I talk about next?
