Today is my mom's favorite Christmas "Special." She remembers seeing this on TV as a kid and we would watch it when it came on. I have this on VHS but I have to admit it's been years since I've seen it.  I will pull this out today and maybe we'll watch it while the baby (toddler!) is napping.

I was craving this tonight, it reminds me of my mom. We used to make it all the time. Ryan doesn't like it how my mom makes it, he doesn't like adding the chips to the salad - they get too soggy for him. Isn't it weird how traditions start and evolve?

For example - I HATE turkey on Christmas. That was Thanksgiving! Stuffing, cranberries, pumpkin etc. That was so last month! For Christmas we usually do Ham. I found a dog.

This morning on our way out to take my daughter to school, this little black dog comes running down the street into our driveway like, "PEOPLE! PEOPLE!"
