Today I moved down to Higashi-Totsuka for the 2 weeks of vacation I have. It's just me in the house until the new year, but with internet, digital TV, video games, and somebody else footing the energy bill, it beats my house in Shizuoka. (笑)

Last weekend, I went with my host dad and some of his friends from work (men and women) on trip to ... probably Yamanashi. I can't be sure, because we drove there. But s you'll be able to tell from the pictures, it was, at any rate, someplace very close to Mount Fuji.

So we finally got the wireless internet to work here at home! Turned out to be as simple a thing as calling in to get the password to the network. Yes, we should have figured it out long ago. It's a huge relief. Even signing in to LiveJournal is easier, because the option "post an entry" is now in English again~!
