DAY ONE (Day 24/Tuesday)
Sai wakes up... and is confused. He is ushered outside where his confusion is
not lessened much by Jack Horner, and then catches sight of Sasuke and
gets involved in an altercation between the missing-nin, Haku, and Zabuza. He tries to talk to Naruto, but they are ushered off for dinner.
Back in room M60, he meets his roommate Kurikara who is a bit stir crazy. Neither of them have a clue what's going on.
The doors open and Sai investigates, attracting the attention of Sasuke. The two of them talk, and Sai eventually agrees to an alliance.
Sai pesters Sasuke with questions, one being the location of Naruto. Sasuke answers briefly, but doesn't know Naruto's location. Given the opportunity to look for his friend, Sai decides to
continue following Sasuke. Though he's not sure
where they're headed. They make their way to the
greenhouse, where they are attacked by R.O.U.S.es large rats. After dealing with them, they test out a mysterious and foul smelling shed but can't break in. Leaving it, they find another one with more promise and secure some gardening tools.
Finished there, they head back out, making their way elsewhere. As they go, Sasuke
questions Sai about Team 7. Reaching the
second floor, they make there way towards the patient's possession room. There they run into
Captain Jack and Ichimaru Gin, already engaged in conflict with one of Landel's monsters.
DAY TWO (Day 25/Wednesday)
Sai wakes up in his bed again, once again baffled. His nurse sends him off to breakfast where he converses with Naruto, Sakura, and Gaara. He becomes convinced that their memories have been altered.
Unable to follow Naruto and Sakura afterwards due to a pushy nurse, he is brought out to the recreational field where he exchanges information with Sasuke and Ichimaru Gin. At lunch: Sai, Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura attempt to have a
civil conversation which is, as usual, cut short.
He spends the next shift on the bulletin board, asking about the "impossibility of people being pulled from different places in time."
Back in their room, Sai and Kurikara have a similar experience as they did the previous evening. Sai lets the other boy arm himself from his selection of gardening equipment.
They then
go their separate ways. After waiting a bit for Sasuke to show, Sai decides to
go off the same way Kurikara had gone. While heading down the hall, his attention is drawn to one of the
men's bathrooms, which has been overrun with some sort of mutated leeches. Inside, Luffy and Usopp are struggling to retrieve whatever item Mr. Radio had insinuated was hidden there. Thinking they had lost something of theirs (besides their minds), Sai
helps fend off leeches while they retrieve it. Eventually, they get a hold of the "treasure" - a soldering iron, and flee the scene.
Suffering from extreme blood loss due to the leeches, the three of them stagger away from the bathroom with no immediate destination in mind. Once further up the hall, Luffy decides it's a good time to take a nap. Sai, realizing how close to his room they are,
directs them that way, carrying the pirate captain.
Finally back in M60, they collapse and see about tending wounds.
DAY THREE (Day 26/Thursday)
Waking up, groggy and still suffering a slight bit from the blood loss of the night before, Sai is led once again to the cafeteria for breakfast. There he
shares a meal with Usopp and Jack Horner, though Usopp's story telling puts him back to sleep long enough to miss a conversation between the other two. Afterwards, he shares an
interesting group therapy session with Jack and Brock, where their nurse learns a couple lessons about playing word association games.
Lunch is spent mostly with Haku, with Usopp showing up again near the end bearing medication. Shower time proves to be the gayest scene ever
an interesting bonding experience with Naruto as the other ninja pries him for information.
Back in their rooms for dinner, Sai actually talks a bit with his roommate and obtains a couple maps in the process. When the doors open, he
waits as instructed for Usopp and Luffy to arrive. He offers copies of the maps to Usopp, but the pirate already seems to have those maps and more. As the group begins
heading towards the kitchen, the planned destination for this night, they all notice the heaviness in the air. Sai equates it to an unusually strong chakra aura. As they
reach the area outside the sun room, it becomes apparent that the energy source is just inside. Sai advises that they go a different way. While Usopp mentions another way around, Luffy is
distracted as he catches sight of an injured Brock. After Usopp offers him Tylenol, they leave him in the care of Peter Parker and
check out the doorway to the sun room, where Clark Kent is standing watch. They decide it would be best to take the other way around, and Clark joins them in doing so. They
double back and
make their way up to the
recreational field where the battle with MOMO has all but come to an end, allowing them to head
over the wall to the courtyard - just making it past another fight to reach the
cafeteria. Finally, they
make it to the kitchen, where they waste no time gathering supplies. Sai
gathers a few things for Usopp on request, showing it to him before the two
return to the kitchen. They had just begun to discuss including a frightened Kairi in their group when the night ended.
DAY FOUR (Day 27/Friday)
SubZero
joins Sai for breakfast this morning, and they talk about escaping Landels. Arts and crafts is then spent
with Kakashi, as he goes over the sort of things that happen in this place as well as who else from their world is also present. The jounin asks about the bulletin board and the two of them
go to the sun room together to check it out. While there, Sai spots Rock Lee, who he hadn't known was there until Kakashi told him, and
approaches him, but they don't have long to chat. He does get in a
brief discussion with him at lunch to find out a few things. In the Library, Sai and Usopp
talk about their plans for the evening.
Dinner is spent with no interaction, and once it's over Sai immediately
heads out
towards Usopp's
hallway. The pirate is quick to
let him in and they spend the evening
working on various interesting sorts of weaponry after a short visit by Yuber.
DAY FIVE (Day 28/Saturday)
Sai appears,
mildly disoriented at first, at the Mystic Spa during the Doyleton field trip just in time to catch Usopp. Asking the ninja if he's hungry causes Sai to admit that he is, and the two of them
leave the spa, instead heading to
Tasty Burger where they finish out the day (and Usopp gets a massage after all). The
bus trip back is spent with Sasuke as the two do a bit of catching up. They make plans to meet up with the Straw Hat crew come nightfall, but Sai disappears shortly after the buses stop, causing a change in plans.
The reason for his sudden absence doesn't become clear until the previously mentioned crew
reaches the kitchen on their way to the basement. Sai has been picked up for special counseling this night, and succeeds in knocking out all five Straw Hats there.
DAY SIX (Day 29/Sunday)
Confused over the events of the previous night, Sai is even further baffled when
Usopp isn't angry with him for it. After making new plans for the evening, the ninja is escorted outside where he
finds Ichimaru Gin for a friendly chat and proposition. Then the next shift finds him in the game room
with Yuber learning to play chess, and dinner involves a
mildly drugged Kurikara (which isn't anything out of the ordinary).
Before he leaves for Usopp's, Sai finds a
surprise in the closet (namely his canon ninja attire) which he changes into before
heading off
to meet with, and startle,
the pirate. With a goal in mind,
the two of them
decide to first
pick up Sasuke before
heading on a
new path up
the stairs on
a mission to
get Usopp some
new supplies. They
wind up helping two other young patients
break into the janitor's closet where they hit the jackpot but also have to fight off a large arachnid. Finishing it off, but not without getting knocked around a bit, the group
then returns
to the first
floor and
to Usopp's room
to lick their
wounds and
divide up goods.
DAY SEVEN (Day 30/Monday)
Sai
avoids the morning riot (and helps Cid avoid it too). Unsurprisingly,
his roommate doesn't. What's more interesting is that Usopp didn't either, and this brings about
cute moments in the sun room. This is followed by
showers, in which Sai once again manages to make someone (in this case poor Artemis Fowl) uncomfortable. Over dinner, Sai and Haku
discuss the dangers of having dinner in the cafeteria, but their worries end up being unnecessary.
Nighttime
brings about
the usual run
to his friend
Usopp's room. He
spends the whole nightshift there. (This night includes a visit from Yuber, Admiral ZEX, and Captain Zelnick as well as an attempted robbery by Mello.)
