What I just finished reading:
brunelleschi's dome which i enjoyed because a. architecture! b. renaissance engineering! and c. it's just very entertainingly written. but i really wanted some modern diagrams because a lot of the descriptions of how the dome was built were hard to visualize.

last night myself, my sister, and my mom (up from fla for thanksgiving) went to my cousin's kid's play, which was the addams family, the musical. i did not know there was an addams family musical. i like the barry sonnenfeld movies better. the musical was, uh, well, kinda dumb. the kids were very good, tho. excellent voices, good stage ( Read more... )

first, good news! i saw the ankle doctor on monday FOR THE LAST TIME. he looked at my x-rays, felt my foot, told me to have a good summer because i earned it. he asked if i had any questions. i did not. so i am DONE WITH THE ANKLE CHECKUPS. the ankle is still stiff, probably because i was really bad about doing my exercises after i left ( Read more... )
