Can you really blame me for wanting to remember this occasion? It's not as though I could take a picture afterward.

You can remember it without that sappy post. You're a detective you have good memory, ja?

I think that a "sappy post" is in order, given the circumstances. Besides, I want to share the memory with everyone!

Now that we've finally solved the case once and for all, Senpai can leave Inaba tomorrow with no regrets.

But I wonder what happened to Izanami? At any rate, I don't think she'll be bothering anyone anymore, least of all the community...

So it's finally done, Naoto-kun? I'm glad. Now you can at least have some peace in Inaba.

Yes. We can finally say good-bye to Senpai without any regrets... This world that we live in belongs to the children of men. We will decide our own fate from here on out.

I feel so relieved, knowing for certain that there are no loose ends left. Senpai can return home knowing that we've accomplished what we set out to do.

The human heart has the strength to shine through the clouds of lies and uncertainty. We were able to prove that fact once and for all.

Orz, wrong icon, should of been the Poker face one. morethanabot March 21 2010, 05:27:38 UTC
I see. Wouldn't most people call that tenacity though?

Probably. There is still hope for humanity. We have not fallen as far as Izanami believed. We can grasp the future with our own hands. We don't need the gods to guide us... We'll forge our own destiny, on our own terms.

derp brigade, go! makinganote March 21 2010, 05:30:33 UTC
So, um, does that mean you stopped her?

truthinfortune March 21 2010, 05:34:59 UTC
Yes. Just like in the legend, when Izanagi sealed his wife, Izanami, inside the Cave of Yomi, so has Izanami promised to leave our world in the hands of the children of men. She won't be interfering in our world ever again...

Oh! Good! Is everyone all right? Sealing goddesses in caves sounds very dangerous, scientifically speaking.

Oh, fine. Except we all had to die first... s-sob... truthinfortune March 21 2010, 05:54:34 UTC
We're fine. Now, anyway. The battle was very long and hard, even harder than the battle against Ameno-sagiri, but we made it through, in the end. When Izanagi-no-Okami spoke the word of power which banishes all the world's curses and falsehoods... Izanami-no-Okami descended into Yomi once more... After that, the fog which had enshrouded that world for so long finally lifted. That, if nothing else, is a sign that all is right with the world.
