I feel so relieved, knowing for certain that there are no loose ends left. Senpai can return home knowing that we've accomplished what we set out to do.

The human heart has the strength to shine through the clouds of lies and uncertainty. We were able to prove that fact once and for all.

I see. Wouldn't most people call that tenacity though?

Probably. There is still hope for humanity. We have not fallen as far as Izanami believed. We can grasp the future with our own hands. We don't need the gods to guide us... We'll forge our own destiny, on our own terms.

She...She was the cause behind everything there and hear at one point wasn't she?

And...I...yeah you're right.

Yes. Ameno-sagiri was merely a facet of Izanami which she set loose inside that world in order to watch over humanity and the Shadows. That's why she was able to release the fog throughout the community, even though we had already defeated Ameno-sagiri.

Now that we've put a stop to Izanami's plans, I don't think she'll ever interfere with the community again. She'd descended into Yomi once more... We've truly avenged those upon whom she inflicted all that suffering...

Hn. I see.

Good job! You guys should go celebrate or something then.

...I can't help but feel sorry for her then. If her life was anything like what Wikipedia is stating...

I don't know if we'll have time for a proper celebration or not. It's rather late now, and Senpai has to get up early so he can catch his train...

I do pity her, a little. To have history repeat itself like this... But it was the only way to save all of mankind...

Ah. That's too bad.

You did what you thought it was right...so it'll all work out.

At least we had the chance to say a proper good-bye. Maybe the next time Senpai comes to visit Inaba, we'll be able to celebrate our victory with him.

Precisely. We'll live life on our own terms. We don't need gods to tell us how we should live.
