Last night was the annual Halloween Party at the local watering hole. We ended up having 2 tables worth of people up there! Me and Brian were a witch and the grim reaper, Missy and Larry were pirates, Amy and Jared were bikers, and Tim and Lisa were Doc Holiday and a sorceress :) Besides myself there were a good 4-5 other witches at the party. We went to karaoke on Saturday, we ended up with a group of 6! It was nice to spend time with friends :) I sang 3 songs- "Do You Sleep" by Lisa Loeb, "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi and "Ballad of Jayne" by L.A. Guns. Here's another one of my projects. I made this from some halloween print cotton, 1/4" ribbon and some velcro. I used a plastic grocery bag cut open to make a pattern! Sorry about the blur, she's an active little dog LOL

I had some major setbacks on this waist cincher. I sewed one of the sides together upside-down and didn't realize it til I was putting the satin ribbon binding on it! Luckily I figured it out before I put the eyelets in. It added another hour and a half onto the project, but overall, I think it turned out pretty good (atleast from the outside, I ( Read more... )
