thistles in the beaks of diamond birds
What a joyous day it has turned out to be. This afternoon i received my iPod in the mail and i am in love. I've kissed it three times already. It is even more fantastic than i had exptected it to be. Added to this small joy, i have an interview next week with Wah Yee Architects in Farmington Hills. They 'reviewed' my resume and are interested in me possibly taking an entry level position with their firm.
My days of slaving at retail jobs may just be over. There is no greater joy i have felt than this joy.
I remain a mounting pile of stress though, with my cardboard chair due monday. I had prayed i was done with it, but alas, i am not. I had a chance to speak with my design professor today though and she told me she's excited about it. She thinks i 'inspired' our class by bringing my chair in last week, thinking it was due. I missed class on Wednesday, but i guess someone brought their chair in and tested it out and it crumbled into lots of pieces when they sat on it and now they have to start from the drawing board.
At least i'm not in that position. I may just walk into a forest and never come out if that happened to me.
