The cardboard chair is done, i'm relieved. I've been convinced by my professor to enter it into this national contest for $1,000. I figure why not.
Great new music was delivered to me via slow_learner and it's fantastic, thank you.
Finished reading Eleanor Rigby by Douglas Coupland. Lately, i start out not enjoying his books, but end up walking away satisfied.
Parents were in town this weekend. We went to Hamtramck to find the house my dad lived in when he was first born. After a lot of driving through the worst neighborhood i've ever drove through, we found it. Or at least where it used to be. It seems that part of town is mostly vacant lots and burnt down houses. It was sad and amazing.
Drinking an espresso martini. Watching The Breakfast Club. Two of my favorite movies that take place in one room (mostly): The Breakfast Club, Two Girls and a Guy. I couldn't think of any others.
My girlfriend looks like Molly Ringwald, and I'm totally cool with that.
