I fail at subjects
--Allison and Ryan? I mean, I knew Ryan was going to go, but Allison before Natalie? There is just no justice in the world. Allison's the better dancer. Plus, she was in High School Musical! I just don't get it. Natalie and Ryan danced to horribly together, and it wasn't Natalie's best night. On the other hand, Allison and Ivan (who are SO CUTE TOGETHER) did a fantastic tango and that sublime hip-hop routine. I don't get how anyone could not vote for her after that. I won't miss Ryan, but Allison should still be there. I don't know how Donyelle has survived as long as she has up against Allison, Natalie and Heidi.
My prediction for the top two? Benji and Heidi.
--I'm going about it a bit backwards, but I'm finally watching the new Doctor Who! ragdoll made me discs of the entire second season, so I started on that last night (taking a break from the Massive BSG Rewatch and the Massive Alias Rewatch). I watched 'The Christmas Invasion," which was spectacular! And then I discovered that despite my earlier claims to the contrary, David Tennant totally does it for me. In all kinds of ways. Yummy.
--I love Ne-Yo. "Sexy Love" is such a great song, and I've always loved "So Sick." But what I like the most about his stuff is that it's hip-hop/R&B, but in an old-school sort of way fused with the new school. Like, Michael Jackson back in his Thriller/Bad/Dangerous days - you know, before he got all weird. But a lot of Ne-Yo's stuff wouldn't have sounded out of place on those albums. But even so, his music still feels current. Anyone who knows me would probably never guess, but I was a HUGE Michael Jackson fan back in the day. Which is probably why I like Ne-Yo. It's just good, uncomplicated music.
