I've been gradually saying goodbye to all my California friends. Had heartfelt meeting with Mandy last night. Also saw "Revolutionary Road" and "Slumdog Millionaire." While "Slumdog" is like a delicious chocolate shake, it is about the rush of romantic love---love at a distance---of a girl you idealize but don't really know.

Season 2 of "The Pickup Artist" is online! It's a VH1 show where they teach socially awkward, clueless guys how to pick up women. Very amusing. You really feel for these poor guys. Watch it ( Read more... )

My blog finally hit over 1 million unique visitors today!!! About 1.9 million page views. As of today, I'm getting 1,700 unique visitors per day.

I started blogging almost exactly 8 years ago. This is my fourth blog. My relationship with blogging has lasted longer than with anyone I've ever dated. Ha! Happy anniversary.

Hmmm...the last part of this article seems to contradict its main point---which is that brainy men attract women more BOTH for one-night stands and long-term relationships.

I always say that women like a guy who has a PhD in Women. Guys who are really smart about THEM.
