First off, I've been asked to liveblog the Oscars.

Newsgroper intends to pair Samuel L. Cool. After years of trying, I got a greenlit submission on fark.com... Only it wasn't my submission that got the greenlight; it was an entry I did on Newsgroper about Ron Paul.

Lots of scat humor and fart jokes. I'm so proud.

Kee-rist. I wrote a resolutely un-funny post (as Katie) about the stupid brou-ha-ha over Ellen's stolen puppy, and got more comments--and longer comments, full of passion--than anything I've written before. If people would get this upset over George Bush, we'd have his ass in jail by noon tomorrow.
