I saw my doctor today and talked to her about possibly going from oral generic estradiol to the transdermal or cream version of it. She said at my age (23) oral estradiol would be fine since my liver is functioning normally, but I've read reviews from women comparing oral vs transdermal  and many of them seem to favor the latter since it's more ( Read more... )

OK, I may be making an incorrect statement here but from what I can remember estrogen redistributes fat to help create breasts. It also moves it to the face and bottom. If I'm correct.
Now, based on this information the fact I haven't lost weight but have been told on numerous occasion I have got slimmer, would be make that statement correct.

Two weeks ago I was told that I could increase my hormone (estrogen) regime from 2mg daily to 4mg. I was also informed that because my T level was already on the low side of average that they wouldn't be considering a T-blocker until they see how the increase has affected me at my next appointment. Just in case any of you don't know, splitting a 5mg tablet of Finasteride (Proscar) in four produces 4 maintenance doses NOT theraputic doses.
I wish someone had told me about this a few years ago.
