I saw my first monarch butterfly yesterday. It was fluttering around the milkweed plants that I've preserved just for monarchs, because that's all they eat. Unfortunately, the milkweed flowers aren't open yet, so the poor butterfly could only gaze at them and wish they would bloom soon ( Read more... )
