Sometimes the internet makes me wish I wasn't sensible enough to walk away

Because I wrote saying that I thought Man of Steel was trite, pretentious, illogical and kind of stupid. I'm not hellotailor, so naturally, I wasn't exactly smart about it. And I was mid-way through the movie, breaking my heart all over again over how much I hated it, so my dissection of why I thought what I thought was kind of shallow. I admit it.

Personally, when it comes down to it, this is neither how I see the character and the background for Clark Kent nor how I prefer to see it. Hence the post. So response on how wrong I am begins (only two, so not like it's an avalanche), and it's fine. I try to explain why I think what I think, the other person does the same, we're a little irritated, both think the other's opinion is wrong but we're pretty much being polite.

Then this asshole jumps is, and gets personal.

My response is to tell him he's a rude fuck with the manners of a rabid dog since he clearly seems to think the relative distance of a virtual presence on the internet entitles him to be verbally abusive to a total stranger. And over what? Pa Kent must be so fucking happy happy he's got a supporter in his corner for his uselessly ambiguous and shitty advise to his adoptive son. Or he would be, if he wasn't fictional!
