As I explained before, I updated my MacBook from 2 to 4 gigs of memory. This involved removing the two 1-gig memory sticks from the MacBook and replacing them with two 2-gig sticks from Crucial. I decided some time ago that I really don't need two laptops. I have a nice MacBook Pro from about three years ago (AppleCare actually expires the day after tomorrow!) as well as the unique aluminum uni-body MacBook.
