As I explained before, I updated my MacBook from 2 to 4 gigs of memory. This involved removing the two 1-gig memory sticks from the MacBook and replacing them with two 2-gig sticks from Crucial. OK, I promised to explain my choice of the new iMac 27" 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo instead of waiting for the i5 or i7 quad core versions. I finally gave in to frustration after having sold my MacBook Pro and having only a lowly MacBook with 2 gigs of memory in it (lovely a system as it is!) to do all the important things I do on my computer. I decided some time ago that I really don't need two laptops. I have a nice MacBook Pro from about three years ago (AppleCare actually expires the day after tomorrow!) as well as the unique aluminum uni-body MacBook.
