Here's another song that plays on BPM XM 81 and it totally gets stuck in my head. This is what a dance song is meant to sound like with an excellent beat that just keeps banging.

His smooth, jazzy sound probably didn't come off as "commercial" enough for the producers to put him on the show, but he has capitalized on that bit of exposure to expand his fan base. The good folks at XM 81, BPM, recently started playing Sam Sparro's "Black and Gold" in heavy rotation. When I first heard it, I enjoyed the sound but the refrain of "black and gold" seemed to make no sense. Toby gave me a Target gift card as part of my anniversary gift, so I bought something I wanted but wouldn't normally spend money on: The Wonder Woman Season 1 DVD set! I suppose there must be people my age who don't love Wonder Woman, but they are wrong. The show totally rocked and the theme song was, by all means. a big part of that rocking:( see the video )

The band at James and Amy's wedding reception this past weekend, Radio Cult, really rocked. I'm not much for dancing to live music, but they managed to play a lot of really good, danceable music. They started their set with this number just to show everyone what we were in for.
