It turned out that I can translate from Russian into Bulgarian with English-influenced punctuation. :D

I didn't do it on purpose, of course. But I somehow managed it very systematically throughout the text. The end result was pretty idiosyncratic.

I almost started fixing the punctuation of the information sheet for the cough syrup I started taking today. I spotted a missing coma somewhere in it... but I realized what I was about to do just before I grabbed the ballpoint pen. :D

Via Oleg Koptev. In case you are wondering, it's a Russian hotel sign that should be saying "Please clean the room" in English. :D

To be fair to the translator, the Russian word could indeed mean "remove" - but not in this case.

I'm looking for a good translation of these song lyrics from German into English. I've only found this version so far, but there is a t least one obvious mistake in the transcript of the original that had lead to a mistake in the translation, and... I'm not sure of anything.

I already feel tempted to use the Russian subtitles of this video (and ( Read more... )

Some people are building up an international network of translators on Google+, and I got included into it. Now let's see what happens!

Here is my Translators circle.

The one that was recruiting translators from/into Greek because they hoped that they would need them, and would maybe call me "some time in September"...

Of course they never called.

I'm glad that I started getting small texts to translate into English from the old company again, because it's better than nothing.
