In late July, my sister moved in with us after being away from home for years--very long story. My grandma had a light stroke...it was so subtle that we didn't even know about it until we got the results of a CT scan back at the hospital today. We went in early this morning because her blood pressure was dangerously low only to find that sometime in the last week she had a stroke. My grandma has a really bad cold. Which is really disheartening to hear considering how shot her immune system is right now. Not even my phone call could cheer her up today.

I'm keeping my head up though. I was ruminate for a few days, but I'm trying to push past it. I'll be there next week, worry can hold off until then.

I found a penny laying heads up on the ground today. I picked it up and put it in my right shoe, for luck. I had to chuckle to myself because of how utterly silly it is.
