HA! Solved the tree problem. It is now wedged upright in a tub full of marbles and 2 large stones I have gathered in from the garden once it got dark. Xmas with my family went pretty uneventfully as these things go. My cold dissapated a lot by xmas eve so I was able to go be sociable :D Most of the cooking got done on the eve. My illness is progrogressing nicely. Dammit :( I seem to have managed to contract a cold. I am sniffiling and sneezing and am surrounded by a plethora of used tissues. On a plus note the heater is warming the room up beautifully and it no longer feels like an ice house any more.

Last Sat was the Psyanide party at the Arc bar. I wasn't holding out much hope for it being busy as I have never in all my years clubbing seen a decently full party on the last weekend before xmas. Today has been a busy day. Had a lie in at the beginning. Didn't get out of bed till 10 just lay around reading for a bit. My uncle came and picked up my mother and myself to take us over to my g'mothers for dinner. I had to get a shop in ASDAs as we have almost run out of a lot of food things. Xmas 2010 seems to have gone by quite quietly with almost no arguments or problems. My mum had a small moment when she decided at the last moment to make a cake and I gave up the ghost and vacated the kitchen. The same happened when she decided she was going to cook the birds. Managed to catch an horrible cough and sore htroat that has triggered my asthma off whilst I was up north. I have spent the last few days in bed being very ill and consequently haven't managed to go out in all the lovely snow at all.
