Is it possible that the Celtics' title is Boston's karmic payback for letting Ray Bourque go to the Avalanche to win his NHL title all these years ago?

While the Boston media were throwing an OMGWTFBBQ over the fact that Tom Brady was pictured wearing a "walking cast" on his foot yesterday, I noticed on my way home from the gym that the folks at Central Square Florists were keeping away from the negative by pointing out that, as usual, Tom Brady models ideal male behavior:

Yesterday was the Red Sox victory parade.  As opposed to 2004, where I had to fly from Philadelphia to witness the madness (totally worth it, by the way), this year it went right by work!  So I took my lunch break at a little after 1, and went down to join the celebration.  This year wasn't nearly as crazy as '04, but it was fun in its own way.  It ( Read more... )
