As previously mentioned, one of my friends gave me a commission for a gold & red pendant, a gift for her sister-in-law in celebration of the birth of her nephew. Here are some photos (not great ones I'm afraid) of the end result. A friend of mine has commissioned me to make a 'Congratulations' pendant for her sister-in-law, who has just provided her with her first nephew. And really, it's the women do all the work, so I think that's a fantastic idea. Hear that guys? Forget the plethora of baby booties and cutesy overalls, a new mother needs congratulations jewellery!

Saturdays are currently very full (and somewhat exhausting) for me - I'm doing a Jewellery Metalwork course at CityLit college in central London.
