Hiroshi turned one a couple of days ago.

In this year, I have worried more than in any year previous. I've had health problems I didn't know existed. I've got less sleep than I thought it was possible for a human being to function on.

And it's been the very best year of my whole life. Happy birthday sweet boy!

I went to the planetarium today because I am a huge massive geek who likes planetariums A LOT and at 32 it's probably time to stop feeling sheepish about that, huh? They've just started doing Mother and Baby showings, and those are free if you have a Friend of the Planetarium card, which I do (as I said, big geek). Wow... that was HORRIBLE! I try to be all stoic when I'm sick, but flaming poop on a stick that flu sucked. Apparently, some people are more prone to colds and flu when they're preggers, since the hormones affect the immune system, making you less able to fightt hings off and more likely have a hard time with whatever you catch.
