My kid is amazing
I went to the planetarium today because I am a huge massive geek who likes planetariums A LOT and at 32 it's probably time to stop feeling sheepish about that, huh? They've just started doing Mother and Baby showings, and those are free if you have a Friend of the Planetarium card, which I do (as I said, big geek). I've never taken Hiroshi before because if he started to cry I wouldn't want to disturb everyone, but I figured it would be okay for a MaB show. So we went to Ancient Constellations together.
He was ENTRANCED. As soon as the stars were up, his eyes got HUGE and he started waving his arms around. His mouth was a big O for most of it, except when something happened which he particularly liked; then he would laugh and wave his arms around. A couple of times, he even called out "MAMAMA!!!" like he wanted to make sure I was paying attention to the fact that there were STARS on the CEILING, and wasn't that just amazing???
He seems to particularly like Ursa Minor.
So, geeky mummy = geeky baby! And bets on how long before he starts writing fanfic?
