The beginners got Hole in the Wall and Hit and Miss, and the advanced class got a repeat of Gray's Inn Maske and the new (for Cadenza) Argeers, a long and rather complex country dance for two couples from the first edition of Playford that I spent part of Friday, yesterday and all of today interpreting. Yay! Finally got hold of someone at Medborgarskolan (educational association) in charge of dance, and their big, beautiful dancing room was free on Saturday afternoons! So now I only have to get definitive applications from everybody who want to be in our Empire dance circle ( Read more... )

Yesterday I taught Country Dances for the second time. I did Gray's Inn Maske again, from last week, and then taught Oranges and Lemons and tried doing Chestnut. It didn't go as well as last week.
