Painting!
I finally got my last painting back from my instructor. I'm rather happy with the painting itself, but the picture is driving me crazy. I've played around with it in photoshop, but the background is still far too blue than the actual painting. It's actually a rather dark and murky series of middle-neutral greens. Colours in computer artwork frustrate me in general, though. They never show up quite the way they should, and from computer to computer they never show up the same way. It's enough to drive one mad.
It's a painting of an odd (to me, at least) Chinese instrument that produces both a drone and melody. I have no idea what it's called. After a while I got tired of explaining what it was I started telling people it was a spaceship. Because of the finger holes, most people didn't believe me.
