Darkness...
Day 2 of the power outage caused by Friday night/Saturday morning's storms. Calls to the power company say that it may be restored sometime Monday or possibly Tuesday. I've lost count the number of times I've absentmindedly turned on a light switch or tried to listen to MPR. Sigh. Going to sleep once the sun goes down is quite difficult, too.
And the slightly galling thing is that a couple blocks away to the South and West, they have power. It's like they're taunting us for being on a different power grid. Dir.
