I finally got my last painting back from my instructor.  I'm rather happy with the painting itself, but the picture is driving me crazy.  I've played around with it in photoshop, but the background is still far too blue than the actual painting.  It's actually a rather dark and murky series of middle-neutral greens.  Colours in computer artwork ( Read more... )

I'm into day two of a series of once-a-week Chinese cooking classes at the Chinese Hospitality Center just outside the U's St. Paul campus.  I'm enjoying the classes and getting a lot out of them, and I'm amused by the fact that aside from the organizers, I think I'm the youngest one taking the class ( Read more... )
