So... are people allowed to "rescue" fic, from old or defunct websites, and post them to AO3 without the author's permission, even if making sure to credit said author?  Is that where we're at in fandom now?

Ugh.  I give up on Dancing with the Stars.  I'll still watch it, because I do enjoy dancing, but I totally give up on expecting it to be a fair, even dance floor of a competition.  It's impossible for a non-ringer (who isn't a football player) to win.  It has been for quite awhile now, and TPTB have made it clear that's the way they want it.  Ugh ( Read more... )

Well, I see the bully girls and their minions are out in force again in that comm.  What was I saying awhile back about missing fandom, even the occasional fracas?  May have to rethink that last bit.
