On the plus side, I have a cat asleep on my foot, purring contentedly.
Still sick - coughing, chest congestion, stuffed head. This cold has lingered for almost two weeks now, my immune system taking far longer to eradicate it than I would like. Rob McConnell, Canadian jazz pioneer and founder of the incredible big band The Boss Brass, passed away today at the age of 75 from cancer. It doesn't matter what age it is: when the great ones go, it's always too damned soon. -
