I'm keeping moderately busy as always. Plowing through episode after episode of Storage Wars is really taking up my time. Plus I think I'm going to dive headfirst into LA Complex soonish. And that Jeweled game on my phone keeps adding new and exciting levels. Busy busy.

Whew - so that's over. Opening night went well, the show came together and we received glowing reviews. Couldn't really hope for anything better. We still have at least 6 performances to go but from now on the sailing is going to be ifinitely smoother.

Suddenly so much is done. Today we recorded the first radio show* and tonight was the last performance of the play. Now I can concentrate on the singing test on Friday. I love having lunch at The Culture House. It's mostly just soup and bread - but oh, what soup and what bread! Everything made from scratch and just perfect. I'm meeting audurada there for lunch. Christmas is really over. The decorations gone, Icelanders seemingly bottomless stock of New Year's fireworks finally depleted (it was just getting annoying) and school's starting up again.

Although I've barely been able to focus on it since my head's completely immersed in the theater game. This year I'll be directing the main spring production ( Read more... )

Ooh! I almost forgot. Since I was whining about my lack of a proper sorry looking Christmas trees I wondered if anyone'd be interesting in seeing the final result.*

I ended up buying a brand new tree and than leaving it indoors for 10 days and never letting a single drop of water near it. I then did a bit of grooming:
