I have returned from Cancún with some color in my skin and a love of Mexico. I had never been before, which is sad for a southern California native. I mean, driving to Tijuana is practically a rite of passage!

I’ve had far less time to blog while on holiday than I had intended. Over the break I read THE MAZE RUNNER by James Dashner and FIRE by Kristin Cashore and caught up on a ton of reading for work. I spent the better part of last week in Washington DC with Mum, enjoying our time together, as well as taking in the sights. I haven’t been in our nation’s capital since high school. I enjoyed some unbelievably gorgeous weather while White-Harp and I acted as unabashed tourists.
