Just got back last night from a fun trip to California. Spent time with the fam, but mostly it was all about going to the big reception for an encaustic painting show which accepted two of my paintings. Was a blast. I have to work on my schmoozing skills. I feel like I've been out of town, or on vacation or something with regards to my flist. (Oh that it were so in RL!) Haven't been by hardly at all, busy busy.  I've had some freelance and been pretty busy at home. Started going to the gym and that kills most of the momentum for the evening since I just want to collapse on the couch afterwards. ( Read more... )

After a whirlwind of a year thus far, I think I'm finally starting to get caught up. Unpacking and setting up the new house is coming along, done with my Satedan_grabass assignment (whew), *almost* caught up at work, no houseguests, no sicknesses, no traumas. Finally!
